This looks awesome :D The only part that needs work is teh head (msotly in making the scales seem bumpy rather than painted on) cuz the rest of the body certainly looks awesome and as if they're real scales :) Good job.

That's some very fine work. The modelling is right on and the textures are very well done. I am thoroughly impressed by the fact that it was done by hand, quite an accomplishment. Also, the lighting is spot and really accentuates your texture work, another fine attribute. Finally, the whole layout of the scene (the DOF, in particular) works in your favor.
